Aug 17, · Richard Rolle was a new figure to me. I enjoy reading early Christian contemplative writers and was first attracted to his work THE FIRE OF LOVE which I found fascinating. Rolle is an excellent writer and even in translation from older English to modern English, much of the magic remains.
